Ingredients

4 Apples

120g Sugar

100g Flour

50g Butter

50g Cranberries (there are great fresh & frozen ones available in Appolonia)

Method

  1. Peel & core the apples, cut into cubes.
  2. Cook covered in the microwave with half the sugar & the cranberries until soft.
  3. Rub the cold butter cut in cubes into the flour.
  4. When it reaches a sandy texture lightly mix in the rest of the sugar.
  5. Place the apple in an ovenproof dish or individual dishes.
  6. Sprinkle with the crumble flour mix.
  7. Bake in a hot oven 200C for 15 minutes, until golden & crunchy on top.
  8. Serve hot with vanilla ice cream or custard.
